Yesterday's news on the death of terror mastermind Osama bin Laden unfortunately overshaddowed, in my opinion, the biggest news story of the day. His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, declared his immediate predecessor, Pope John Paul II to the dignity of "blessed", advancing him one step closer to sainthood.
