Very UN-American

Thanks to the efforts of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the United States has agreed to join 152 other countries in supporting the Arms Trade Treaty Resolution. What the resolution does is set up a United Nations conference to figure out how to confiscate your guns via the support of anti-gun countries.

According to former U.S. ambassador to the U.N., John Bolton, said that through this conference, the United Nations “is trying to act as though this is really just a treaty about international arms trade between nation states, but there’s no doubt that the real agenda here is domestic firearms control.”

This is an absolute outrage and is highly unconstitutional. How dare Secretary Clinton sell out our rights as American citizens to that Legion of Doom that we know as a United Nations. We as Americans must fight for our sovereignty and do what we can to keep ourselves from being slaves to a foreign regime dedicated to stripping us of our Republic. Secretary Clinton has already promised push the treaty through the U.S. Senate for ratification. CALL YOU SENATORS AND DEMAND THAT THEY SAY "NO" TO RATIFICATION!

Defend your right to bear arms and your right to protect yourself from the government, both the federal and ESPECIALLY a foreign dictatorship. And once and for all, DEMAND THAT WE GET THE U.S. OUT OF THE U.N. AND THE U.N. OUT OF THE U.S.!

You gotta be kidding me

It's been a few hours since President Barack Obama finished his State of Union Address. It was more of a kiss-up fest with Vice President Joe Biden nodding his head in the affirmative after every other sentence and botox-ridden Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) standing up every 3 seconds for a bravo to the great master of us all.

I, on the other hand, was far from impressed.

Here are just a few things that either have me ticked off or have me asking more questions:

-If you want to create jobs, then why would you tax the banks that provide the loans to the small businesses that create the jobs?

-How can you call yourself a leader of peace when you deploy 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan?

-Do really want me to believe that you want us to move on and forget the past when in the same speech you played the blame game on President Bush for the problems that you helped to create, and now made worse as the President of the United States.

-Do we really need reform if we want to stop rewarding failure, or should we just get rid of affirmative action (and the Department of Education all together)?

-Why should we encourage members of Congress to post their earmarks on their websites when we can encourage to cut earmarks?

-Sure you might post the laws your going to sign on the White House website, but if Congress doesn't have enough time to read it, what makes you think we will?

Some questions, we'll never know the answer to, and some, I suppose, we're better off not knowing (though that doesn't mean you shouldn't give us one anyway).
