How about a prize for peaceful people?

As I'm sure everyone knows by now, the high and mighty paramount leader of the United States and General Secretary of the Democrat Party of America, the enlightened one, Barack Obama has been named the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate. For what? And honestly, with the exception of Mother Teresa, does anyone honestly take this award seriously when it says it recognizes people who work to bring about peace? Let's take a look at a few of the past winners of the Nobel Peace-of-garbage Prize, shall we:

Jimmy Carter - Humanitarian? How come nobody's talking about how he got Iran in the mess that it currently is in today?

Wangari Mathaai - Supported the theory that white scientists created the HIV virus to get rid of the black population.

Al Gore - Is global warming as big of threat as Mr. Gore presents it to be? After sitting in my car for the past few days waiting for my car to heat up, boy I wish it were true!

Yasser Arafat - Palestinian terrorist who was involved in the 1973 Khartoum assassinations.

Menachim Begin - Israeli terrorist who was involved in the Zionist-led King David Hotel bombing in 1946.

Cordell Hull - Secretary of State under President Franklin D. Roosevelt; helped to convince FDR to refuse the SS St. Louis entrance into the United States, causing many of the passengers on the ship who were fleeing from Nazi Germany to end up in the concentration camps, and ultimately their demise. Not to mention his prior knowledge of Pearl Harbor and his lack of interest to prevent it, if not ignore it.

Woodrow Wilson - the man who began the slippery slope to our economic problems today by helping to create the Federal Reserve. Wilson also deceived the American people about getting involed in World War I by claiming that Germany hit the luxury liner RMS Lusitania which was a threat to our National Security (only to find out later that not only did he let Americans into the line of fire, but also had explosives on board). Not to mention he was a flaming racist.

And now here we are in 2009, and President Obama is your Nobel Peace Prize laureate for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples". And yet where are we in the eyes of the world? We are just as hated by the people across the world as anytime in the past twenty years, we are still fighting two unconstitutional wars, as a Nation, we are more divided than ever. And we have a "peace" laureate who can't even keep citizens in the womb safe? Peace? Peace of what?
